agencies will be contacted to gather background information and the project scope will be formally <br />coordinated with federal and state agencies as described in Task 3.1. <br />The consultant will conduct a reconnaissance level field visit to verify conditions identified in the <br />Environmental Inventory and will update it if necessary related to the direct or indirect study areas. <br />A field verification of site conditions will be conducted, and will include a reconnaissance level analysis <br />of resources. <br />Products: The Consultant will gather this information and provide a summary of all required affected <br />categories in the EA. If additional studies are required based on the information obtained through <br />these tasks, a separate scope and fee will be negotiated based on the specific requirements identified. <br />Task 3.9 -Preparation & Submittal of Required Permit/Consultation Submittals <br />Approach: Consultant will prepare and submit required documentation for needed consultations and <br />permitting. <br />Products: Expected Permitting/Consulta ion Requirements for the proposed action can be assumed <br />at this point based on the limits and extent of impact determined to date. This scope of work limits <br />its scope to the list of permit applications/deliverable for the associated agencies; any deliverables <br />not on this list are to be considered 'Additional/Unexpected'. <br />Deliverables: The following summarizes permit applications and supporting documents to be <br />provided to the various agencies: <br />• Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation -Project description and graphic <br />depiction of the APE & Cultural Resource Report <br />• Tribal Contacts -Project description and graphic depiction of the APE & Cultural Resources <br />Survey & Technical Reports to the Tribes. Tribes anticipated to be consulted by FAA include <br />Colville Confederated Tribes, the Samish Indian Nation, the Snoqualmie Tribe, and the <br />Yakama Tribe. <br />• US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps); Department of Ecology (Ecology); Kittitas County- <br />Wetlands Delineation report. Mitigation Plan (if needed), Joint Aquatic Resources Permit <br />Application (JARPA). If wetlands are impacted, is anticipated that a Nationwide Permit from <br />the Corps and Ecology will be required and that a Critical Areas Permit from the County will <br />be required. <br />• Kittitas County-Floodplains Assessment Report, Floodplain Development Permit <br />Application <br />• Kittitas County-State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Checklist.
