Through our design efforts, events, and promotion , we have
played a major role in creating a downtown people aim to visit. We recently held the
largest conference hosted in downtown, Revitalize WA INith over 275 registered
attendees. The downtown hotel project moving forward is a great example of how
downtown Ellensburg has become a desired destination for travel in Washington
State . We regularly evaluate our events to ensure they are growing and expanding
or if they should be let go to allow energy to be put elsewhere. Having the funding
to help promote all that we do is vital to our cont inued growth of downtown and as
an organization.
2500 character linit
Supporting Documents You rray upload any supporting docurrents such as graphs. irrages, diagram;, rrarketing rraterials, etc.
Application part 1-gno, rw.pdf 40.68KB
You are allowed to subnit up to 3 single page (US Letter) docurrents in JFG, R:F or 1lFFforrrat
71 Previous Lodging Tax Grant Information
Previous Years f-a s yo ur ev ent rece ived Lodg ing Tax fun ds in prev ious yea rs?
Awarded Lodging Tax r No , this eve n t/project has not previously received Lodging Tax Funding .
Grants* r Yes, 1 year p revi o us
r Yes , 2 years previous
r-Yes, 3 or more years previous
How many participants and spectators attended last year's activity and/or will attend
this year?
Prior Year*
2,200
Projected*
2,800
How many days did/will your event occur?
Prior Year*
9
Projected*
9
How many paid overnight stays were and/or will be booked as a result of your
project/event?
Prior Year*
1,386
Paid Overnights' Data Support
Projected*
1,786
Explain how the room nights data above from the prior year was collected and how the projection for the next year is
derived.
