I <br />Recipient Task Coordinator: Holly Myers <br />Deliverables <br />Number Description <br />1.1 Accomplish facility and other inspections as scheduled. Follow up <br />as needed. Provide oversite and monitor for compliance. Investigate <br />and resolve solid waste complaints and concerns; follow up and <br />enforce as necessary, research emerging solid waste issues. <br />Miscellaneous supplies included. <br />1.2 Inspection reports and documentation of complaint responses. <br />CHANGES TO SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task Number: 2 Task Cost: $39,188.70 <br />Task Title: Syringe Education and Exchange Events <br />Task Description: <br />Due Date <br />06/30/2017 <br />06/30/2017 <br />RECIPIENT will maintain a Syringe Education and Exchange surveillance program located in Kittitas County. <br />RECIPIENT will provide designated locations for syringe disposal and education regarding safe sharps handling and <br />disposal according to local and state regulations. Task costs will include staff hours, educational materials, and sharps <br />containers for proper and healthy diversion of hazardous materials as well as code compliance. <br />With written approval from Ecology the recipient may request reimbursement for attendance at trainings and <br />conferences and memberships fees related to task activities. <br />Task Goal Statement: <br />RECIPIENT will educate Kittitas County residents on the importance of properly disposing sharps in effort to reduce <br />the number of improperly disposed of sharps from residences in Kittitas County that pose a potential health risk and <br />perceived threat to the waste generators, public and workers in the waste and recycling industry. <br />Task Expe(''fed Outcome: <br />The number sharps that are properly disposed of from residents in Kittitas County will be increased. <br />Recipient Task Coordinator: Holly Myers <br />Deliverables <br />Number Description Due Date <br />2.1 Continue to provide weekly opportunities for the public to dispose 06/30/2017 <br />of sharps, and provide education regarding the importance of proper <br />sharps disposal. <br />Version 10/30/20 IS <br />Page 2 of4
