CHANGES TO SCOPE OF WORK Task Number: 3 Task Cost: $3,895.70 Task Title: Unsecured Loads Community Outreach Task D.escripti on: 06/30/2017 06/30/2017 RECIPIENT will maintain an unsecured load surveillance, enforcement, education, and compliance program located at solid waste facilities in Kittitas County. This program will include educational materials focused on reducing violations of the Kittitas County unsecured load ordinance and informational events that involve face-to-face interactions with the public. This task will include costs covering staff hours and the production of educational materials for this program. With written approval from Ecology the recipient may request reimbursement for attendance at trainings and conferences and memberships fees related to task activities. Task Goal Statement: RECIPIENT will maintain an unsecured load surveillance, education, and enforcement program with the overall goal of increasing the percentage o f secure loads that come into solid waste facilities & prevent accidental litter from becoming a public and environmental health nuisance . Task Expected O utcome: The percentage of secured loads entering solid waste facilities will be increased, accidental litter from unsecured loads will be decreased, and public and environmental health degradation and nuisances will be prevented.
