With the new direction described herein the CONSULTANT will be responsible for delivering the final <br />plans, specifications, and estimate (opinion of cost) (PS&E) package. COUNTY will be responsible for <br />assembling the final PS&E with the other necessary COUNTY documents and for advertising the project. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />TASK 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />No changes to the original scope of work. An increased level of effort is required, associated <br />with the addition of final design tasks. This increase effort is shown in the budget. <br />TASK 2 DATA ANALYSIS <br />No changes to the original scope of work. <br />TASK 3 GEOTECHNICAL FIELD INVESTIGATION & LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br />No changes to the original scope of work. <br />TASK 4 GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING ANALYSIS & REPORT <br />No changes to the original scope of work. <br />TASK 5 NEPA/SEPA DOCUMENTATION <br />The original scope of work shown in this task requires an increased level of effort due to <br />direction from the COUNTY to change the proposed alignment of Lick Creek. The new or <br />deleted scope is shown below: <br />• Added Scope: <br />• NHPA Section 106 Evaluation <br />Increased coordination with the Cultural Resources Staff at the Yakama Nation due to <br />the additional area of potential effects and the amount of excavation for the new <br />channel. Coordination efforts will be done with Kittitas County and FHWA input and <br />approval. <br />• Wetland and Aquatic Resources Assessment and Report <br />♦ Delineate additional wetlands and aquatic resources within the area of the proposed <br />channel relocation. <br />• Endangered Species Act (ESA) Biological Assessment <br />♦ Additional effort for project effects associated with the new channel. <br />Provide enhanced ESA coordination with agencies throughout the review/approval <br />process <br />• NEPA/SEPA <br />Coordinate with FHWA regarding the NEPA process rather than WSDOT. <br />Support County Transportation Planner who will complete and internally coordinate <br />the NEPA Categorical Exclusion, SEPA Checklist, Local Agency Exemptions, and/or DNS. <br />Scope of Service_Teanaway Hyd Imp_Amend 01_2018-04-19 <br />Page 2 of 19 <br />
