L ?10re a"e ! rar;pgn"ounds ahr:_ady In Easton, Lake Easton; Resort; Silver
Rldc,e Ranch, State Park U Double K. All of these businesses offer
access to the existing trail systems. When campgrounds are at full
capacity the community becomes overwhelmed by more than
doubling the population. Marion Meadows would be adding additional
load on our community by offering a 5`F' camp ground.
2. Provisions for a water source has not been addressed. There is no
agreement with the Easton Water District to provide water.
3. Provisions for a Sewer system has not been designed to address
contamination to wells that are downstream from the development.
4. One Road in and out of the proposed area. The one road crosses a
culvert — not a bridge. This is not adequate for fire and emergency
services support to the addition of Marian Meadows.
5. Air Quality - with the additional homes in a condensed area I am
concerned about air quality and impacts to existing residents.
6. There is already a lacy of Law Enforcement in our area, additional
homes will make it worse.
am not opposed to R5 development, this is the existing code today and
does not come with the issues I have spoken to. R5 is what our family
signed up for when we chose to reside in Easton.
If this condensed house plan were to move forward Easton would lose it's
rural character and a precedent would be set for like urban type
development in rural areas. Marion Meadows plan discusses items that
would be available to the "community", however it does not say available to
the Easton Community. Many of us learned with other like developments
amenities offered to the community will be available to only those within
Marion Meadows community. Meaning the existing Easton Community has
no benefit.
We of the Community of Easton are being expected to give up our existing
unique eco -system. An ecosystem that has deer, elk, bear, owls, eagles,
salmon, trout and other wild life living with us. Marian Meadows
condensed housing pan would jeopardize the uniqueness we experience
today.
Thank you for your time, Lynn Lopez — ATT Mobility D2 Engineer, Easton
Resident t=A`fo/1ll tc,4 qyq
