security to monitor festival, parking and camping grounds. Number of personnel will be determined by
total number of attendees.
Crowd Management Services Contact: Laurie Bates — lbatesOcnisprotecLsiun.c:om
Medical Services: Chinook Fest will provide an on-site first-aid booth staffed by volunteer nurses to
provide general and minor first-aid and act as first responders in case of medical emergency. On-site
sheriffs personnel will be available to act and radio in case of emergency with immediate response
expected from Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue 291.
Public Roads
Preliminary approval for road closure has been received from WSDOTto implement the same road closure
plan as done in 2015. See attached Road Closure Plan.
Contact: Jim Mahugh — r,iaiiuehigRw.sdot.wa.gau
Garbage/Recycling Plan
Garbage and recycling services will be provided by Kittitas County Waste Management. The plan will
include the following:
® Three 6 -yard receptacles. Placed at the Plaza. 1 designated for trash collection, 2 for recycle.
m One 20 -yard receptacle to be placed in main parking area for trash collection.
• Drop off by Waste Management will be 07/07/16 and pick-up will occur following clean-up on
7/12/16.
Small waste and recycling receptacles will be placed strategically throughout festival, parking and
camping grounds for the deposit of trash and recyclable materials by the public. These will be
emptied into the Kittitas County provided bins throughout the event by Chinook Fest staff and
volunteers.
Insurance
Certificate of Insurance listing Kittitas County as additionally insured included.
Waiver Request Penal Bond — Bond of Indemnity
Chinook Fest requests a waiver of the $5,000 Penal Bond — Bond of Indemnity deposit. There are multiple
access points from 1-90 from both east and west allowing traffic to be dispersed evenly on roads
throughout the weekend. Per agreements with existing contractors, Chinook Fest expects only a handful
of semi -type trucks to make deliveries and pick-ups for the festival. Additionally, nearly half of the festival
goers are expected to park their vehicles in festival parking and camp in the provided camping area for
the weekend, meaning minimized daily traffic for the event. Based on these predictions as well as the
success of this event in 2015, no notable impact can be expected on the surrounding roads, pavement or
bridges and so we request the deposit be waived.
County Filings & Registration:
Cost for Event Pass:
• $50 - $65 3 -day Weekend Pass
• $251 -day Friday Pass
e $35 1 -day Saturday Pass
e $101 -day Sunday Pass
