EXHIBIT"A"SCOPEOFWORKBERKshallprovideconsultantservicesforpreparationoftherequiredperiodicupdatetoKittitasCounty'sComprehensivePlanandDevelopmentRegulations(2017Update),asdescribedinthefollowingScopeofWork.ThisScopeofWorkmaybesupplementedwithadditionaltasksandbudgetatthedirectionoftheCounty.TheScopeofWorkforanyadditionaltasksnegotiatedwillbebilledonatimeandmaterialsbasisnottoexceedtheagreeduponbudget.ShouldtheCountyrequireadditionaltasksforthisprojectthatareoutsidetheagreeduponScopeofWorkadditionalScopesofWorkandcostestimatesshallbepreparedfortheapplicableworkandthisProfessionalServicesAgreementwillbemodifiedwiththeauthorizationoftheCounty.BERKScopeofWork-KittitasCountyProjection,Allocation,andLandCapacityAnalysisKittitasCountyCommunityDevelopmentServices(CDS)isseekingconsultingservicestoprovidepopulation,demographic,andemploymentanalysisandrelatedstudiesnecessarytoallocategrowththrougharegionalCounty-cityconsultationprocess,afoundationincomprehensiveplandevelopment.ThisproposedScopeofWorkcoverstasksrelatedtopopulationandemploymentprojection,allocation,andlandcapacityanalysis.Taskdescriptionsandbudgetsareprovidedseparatelybelow.AllproposedtaskswillbeexecutedincloseconsultationwithCDSstaffandcitiesasappropriate.ThisscopemaybesupplementedwithadditionaltasksandbudgetatthedirectionoftheCDSDirectorandKittitasCountyBoardofCommissionersapproval.Thescopeofworkandanyadditionaltasksnegotiatedwillbebilledonatimeandmaterialsbasisforthenottoexceedfeeintheagreedbudget.ProjectDescriptionAnoverviewofeachtaskisincludedbelow,followedbyassumptionsregardingdataandsupporttobeprovidedbyCDS.Task1.MeetingsandProjectManagementTwoBERKstaffwilltraveltoKittitasCountyforakick-offmeetingwithCDSandinterestedcities.UptofouradditionalmeetingswithCDSandcitieswillbeconducted,oneinpersonandthreevirtuallyusingscreensharingandteleconference.ProfessionalServicesAgreementPage11
