Future Plans* The goal of this event is not to bring funding to the EDA, but to bring tourists into <br />Kittitas County for an overnight stay. We will seek out sponsors for this event to <br />help cover costs. <br />The EDA has one of the most diversified budgets of the Washington Main Street <br />communities and we continue to look for ways to become more diverse and self- <br />sustaining. In the past year, we have increased many of our sponsorships by <br />creating packages that allow a sponsor to support multiple events, street furniture, <br />and other EDA projects all with one slightly larger donation. We also exercise our <br />various partnerships throughout the community for in kind donations and logged <br />thousands of volunteer hours. <br />2500 character linit <br />Application Questions: Part 4 <br />l^J <br />61 Additional Information <br />Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your <br />project and its benefit to tourism. <br />Additional Information The Ellensburg Downtown Association continues to strive to make tourist's trips to <br />Downtown Ellensburg well rounded, positive, and something they will go back and <br />tell friends and family about. Through our design efforts, events, and promotion, we <br />have played a major role in creating a downtown people aim to visit. We regularly <br />evaluate our events to ensure they are growing and expanding or if they should be <br />let go to allow energy to be put elsewhere.
