KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />March 3, 2026 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for Calendar <br />Year 2026. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works solicits <br />bids for the furnishing of Liquid Asphalt Materials <br />in accordance with Standard Specifications of the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation. <br />Notice of Call for bids are advertised in the legal <br />newspaper of record. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened on February 19, 2026, at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Public Works Department. Three (3) <br />bids were received and deemed responsive. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve the Resolution to Award the Bid <br />to furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2026 to <br />Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions for Schedule `A'. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director <br />
