BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026- <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2026 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 3, 2026, to <br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2026; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ergon <br />Asphalt and Emulsions for Schedule "A" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2026 Liquid Asphalt Materials to Ergon <br />Asphalt and Emulsions for Schedule "A", upon such terms and conditions as specified in the <br />Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 3rd day of March 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />
