KITTITAS COLTNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION: <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />IIANDLING: <br />ATTACIIMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />October 21,2025 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Selection <br />of Baer Testing and Engineering, Inc. for Professional <br />Material Testing services supporting Public Works for up <br />to a Three-Year Period and Authorize the Public Works <br />Director to Negotiate and Sign the Professional Services <br />Agreement. <br />On July 1,2025, Public Works received approval to <br />advertise a request for Statement of Qualifications to solicit <br />for professional services (consistent with state law and <br />County policy). Submittals were due July 31,2025, for <br />Public Works staff review and scoring. After review of <br />responder information, Public Works reconmends the <br />selection of Baer Testing and Engineering, Inc. for said <br />services.
