KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 17, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's signature <br />on the Land Use Cooperative Agreement between Kittitas County and <br />Grant County PUD No. 2 for the period of June 1, 2025 to June 1, <br />2026 <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has been partnering with Grant County Public Utility <br />District No. 2 (Grant PUD) serving patrons of the Vantage Boat <br />Ramp for the previous several decades. A land use cooperative <br />agreement was entered into between the County and Grant PUD in <br />2023 and 2024 for co -management of the Vantage Boat Ramp area, <br />specifically the restroom facility. Several items remain unresolved <br />and staff is requesting a single year extension to the agreement for <br />services at the Vantage Boat Ramp facility. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Authorize the Chair's signature on the <br />proposed cooperative land use agreement with Grant County PUD <br />No. 2 for the period of June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Land Use Cooperative Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director of Public Works <br />
