APRIL 29, 2024 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz (Webex). Excused: Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Chad Bala, CDS Director and two members of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending April 26, 2024. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION 5.20 SPECIAL EVENT APPLICATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Staff explained that with Special Events the Events need to charge <br />Admission and have no less than 100 people as a requirement for <br />applicantions. She stated that the application she got does not do <br />either of these. She reviewed the history of the applicant with CDS <br />and asked the Board for direction. Staff was directed to send a <br />letter to Rich Hoyt regarding his Special Event Application and <br />outlining what options he has for the Event(s) to move forward. They <br />explained they are not happy about it but don’t have another option <br />now. Chairman Wachsmith stated he has a meeting coming up with Staff <br />and Prosecutor, Treasurer, CDS & DPW to work through issues in the <br />Code. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION ERIC B.
