KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />December 15, 2020 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the <br />Bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant <br />Products for Calendar Year 2021. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Petroleum and <br />Lubricant Products in accordance with <br />specifications. <br />Calls for Bids were opened on November 19, <br />2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Public Works <br />Department and three (3) bids were received. <br />Public Works recommends awarding the bid <br />from A and I Distributors for Schedule "C". <br />There was one (1) bid received for Schedule <br />"A" and no bids received for Schedule "B". <br />Public Works recommends awarding the bid <br />from A-1 Petroleum for Schedule "A". <br />After contacting our current provider AmeriFuel <br />(formerly R.E. Powell Distributing), they have <br />agreed to supply the product for Schedule "B" <br />based on last year's bid award under <br />Resolution 2019-170. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bids <br />to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for <br />2021. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director of Public Works <br />
