BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. TO AWARD THE BED TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2021 AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2021 on November 5, 2020 and November 12, 2020; and WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on November 19, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County Public Works Department and three (3) bids were received; and WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A and I Distributing for Schedule "C" be accepted; and WHEREAS: One bid was received for Schedule "A"; and WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A-1 Petroleum for Schedule "A" be accepted; and WHEREAS: No bids were received for Schedule `B": and WHEREAS: Last year's provider for Schedule `B", AmeriFuel, (formerly R.E. Powell Distributing) has agreed to continue their accepted bid pricing from 2020, awarded under Resolution 2019-170; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2021 to A-1 Petroleum for Schedule "A'; AmeriFuel, (formerly R.E. Powell Distributing) for Schedule `B'; and A and I Distributing for Schedule "C'; upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
