KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 15, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Rescinding $56,439 in <br />Highway Infrastructure funds to Kittitas County Public <br />Works Pursuant to Resolution 2020-049; Leaving $73,143 <br />in award to Public Works. <br />BACKGROUND: Resolution 2020-049 made available Highway <br />Infrastructure funding to Public Works. Of the $129,582 <br />awarded in Resolution 2020-049, Public Works saved <br />$56,439 in 2020 construction costs that can now be <br />reallocated for regional transportation urban improvement. <br />The money saved is proposed to fund a portion of the <br />University Way/Reecer Creek Road signal. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to rescind $56,439 in urban <br />Highway Infrastructure funding provided to Public Works <br />in Resolution 2020-050. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
