BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - <br />RESCINDING $56,439 IN HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM FUNDS TO <br />KITTITAS COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS PURSUANT TO <br />RESOLUTION 2020-049 LEAVING $73,143 IN AWARD TO PUBLIC WORKS <br />WHEREAS: Resolution 2020-049 awarded $129,582 in Highway Infrastructure Program funds <br />to Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works saved $56,439 in 2020 project construction costs; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works desires making the $56,439 available to the City of Ellensburg <br />supporting the signalization of the University Way/Reecer Creek Road <br />intersection; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby rescind $56,439 in Highway Infrastructure Program funds <br />awarded in Resolution 2020-049 and retains the balance as awarded to Public Works. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $56,439 be made available to the City of Ellensburg <br />should they elect to request funding towards the signalization of the University Way/Reecer <br />Creek Road intersection. <br />DATED this 15th day of December 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />
