MAY 30, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie <br />Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Jill <br />Scheffer, KVEC Director and two member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending May 26, 2017. <br /> <br />UPDATE HYAK DRIVE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz provided an e-mail she received from Scott <br />Sumner, Hyak Resident for the Board’s review. She stated that she <br />asked Public Works Director Mark Cook to attend the meeting to share <br />his proposed solutions for consideration. <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director reviewed his proposed course of <br />action (striping the centerline of Hyak Drive and adding fog lines <br />to constrict the travel lanes to 10 feet each) in response to an e- <br />mail Commissioner Osiadacz received from a concerned Hyak resident. <br />The Board indicated their support but noted that depending on how <br />well this fixes the problem/concerns being expressed they may have <br />to re-group and come up with additional ideas. <br />
