<br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 17, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Resolution Correcting a <br />Scrivener’s Error in Resolution 2025-249 Authorizing the <br />Public Works Water Resource Manager to Accept Funding <br />from the Washington State Department of Ecology and to <br />Sign Grant Agreement No. SEAFBD-2527-KiCPWD- <br />00022. <br />___________________________________________________________________________________ <br />BACKGROUND: The Flood Control Zone District applied for and was <br />awarded $10 million in funding for the Lower Kittitas <br />Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project. Resolution No. <br />2025-249 authorized the Public Works Water Resource <br />Manager to accept funding from the Washington State <br />Department of Ecology and to sign Grant Agreement No. <br />SEAFBD-2527-KiCPWD-00022 but inadvertently <br />contained an error in the funding amount. Public Works has <br />prepared a resolution correcting a scrivener’s error in <br />Resolution No. 2025-249 to correct the funding amount. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to Approve the Resolution Correcting a Scrivener’s <br />Error in Resolution 2025-249 Authorizing the Public <br />Works Water Resource Manager to Accept Funding from <br />the Washington State Department of Ecology and to Sign <br />Grant Agreement No. SEAFBD-2527-KiCPWD-00022. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager.
