BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. ______________ <br /> <br />CORRECTING A SCRIVENER’S ERROR IN RESOLUTION 2025-249 AUTHORIZING THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO ACCEPT FUNDING FROM THE <br />WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND SIGN GRANT AGREEMENT <br />NO. SEAFBD-2527-KiCPWD-00022 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Resolution No. 2025-249 authorized the Public Works Water Resource Manager to <br />accept funding from the Washington State Department of Ecology and to sign Grant <br />Agreement No. SEAFBD-2527-KiCPWD-00022; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Said resolution inadvertently contained an error in the funding amount listed therein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The resolution should have read as follows: <br /> <br />Kittitas County Public Works requested $10,000,000 in funding from the Department of <br />Ecology through the Floodplains by Design Program to finalize permitting and construct <br />the Lower Kittitas Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, finding that it is in <br />the best interest of the public, hereby approves this resolution correcting a scrivener’s error in Resolution <br />No. 2025-249 to reflect the correct funding amount. <br /> <br />DATED this 17th day of February 2026, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br />Attest: <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik ________________________________ <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br /> _______________________________ ________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
