MONDAY <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />2:30 PM <br />August 25, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chair Laura Osiadacz, Vice Chair Cory <br />Wright, and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br />Others: Chad Bala, Jamey Ayling, Jeremy Johnston and Jessica <br />Miller, Community Development Services, and (0) members of the <br />public. <br />At 2:30 pm Chair Osiadacz opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />There were no citizen comments. <br />Request for Approval of a Resolution Authorizing Amendment #1 of <br />Contract No. K2617 between the Washington State Conservation <br />Commission and Kittitas County for the Voluntary Stewardship <br />Program (VSP) . <br />CDS Director Chad Bala provided background information on the <br />original contract approval which occurred at the July 28, 2025 <br />CDS Study Session, and presented the staff report. The <br />amendment includes the Scope of Work and Budget for an <br />Additional Allocation of $40,000 of VSP Capital Funds to <br />initiate any projects approved through Conservation Practices <br />Database System (CPDS). <br />Vice Chair Cory Wright made a motion to approve Resolution 2025- <br />149 authorizing an amendment of Contract No. K2617 between the <br />Washington State Conservation Commission and Kittitas County for <br />the VSP as presented.
