2025 Land Development Code Amendments Update <br />Long Range Planner Jeremy Johnston presented the staff report. <br />On July 14, 2025, CDS initiated a Land Development Code <br />Amendment cycle. The cycle was initiated to address the four <br />issues identified as Items 25-01 through 25-04 in the agenda <br />staff report. Johnston summarized each item. Chair Osiadacz <br />asked for clarification on Item 25-03 regarding number of <br />dwelling units allowed within the UGA and LAMIRDS. Johnston <br />clarified that HB 1337 provides new guidance for allowance of <br />one single family home and 2 ADU's, subject to meeting code <br />standards. <br />Long Range Planner Johnston informed that the proposed items <br />were introduced to the Planning Commission at a public hearing <br />on August 12, 2025, where they provided a recommendation to the <br />BOCC. CDS plans to bring these items to the BOCC in October.
