MAY 7, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy Buchholz, Office <br />Administrator; Patti Stacey, Facilities Director; Doug Mitchell, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; Zack DeHaven, Assistant Budget & Finance <br />Director; Brian Carlson, Budget & Finance Director; Shelise <br />Smithgall, Administrative Assistant; Reid Burbank, Finance Manager; <br />and Bryan Elliott, Auditor. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY MAINTENANCE <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from April 16, 2024, to consider surplusing County property known as <br />Parcel 403834, located at 1200 E. University Way, Ellensburg, WA and <br />to set a minimum price for the property. He noted the record was <br />open. <br /> PATTI STACEY, FACILITIES DIRECTOR, provided a Staff Report, and <br />requested the Board to surplus the County property; to set a minimum <br />price for the property at $226,650.00, and to authorize the <br />Treasurer’s office to advertise a public auction to be held on June <br />6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2024-077 SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY MAINTENANCE VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-077, <br />Declaring Parcel #403834 as Surplus to County Needs; to set a <br />minimum price for the property at $226,650.00, and to authorize the <br />Treasurer’s office to advertise a public auction to be held on June <br />6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Conference Room. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING BUDGET AMENDMENTS AUDITOR <br />At 2:02 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />amendments to the 2024 County Budget. <br /> BRIAN CARLSON, BUDGET & FINANCE DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report <br />and proposed budget amendments.
