RESOLUTION 2024-078 2024 BUDGET AMENDMENT AUDITOR VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2024-078, <br />Amending the 2024 County Budget. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AMEND COUNTY CODE PROSECUTOR <br />At 2:04 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />an Ordinance amending Kittitas County Code Chapter 15.08, Governing <br />Kittitas County’s Regulations of Burn Bans. <br /> DOUG MITCHELL, DEPUTY PROSECUTOR, reviewed proposed amendments to <br />Kittitas County Code Chapter 15.08. He said they’ve been working on <br />inconsistencies within the Code and the Sheriff’s Office had brought <br />this to the attention of the Prosecutor’s Office. He said as it’s <br />currently written, it does not include language to account for the <br />State’s statutory assessments that are added on top of the County’s <br />listed fine when a case/citation is added into the State’s Court <br />system. He recommended the Board approve the proposed Ordinance. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> ORDINANCE 2024-004 AMEND COUNTY CODE PROSECUTOR <br /> VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Ordinance No. 2024-004, <br />Amending Kittitas County Code Chapter 15.08, to Correct Minor <br />Inconsistencies. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded.
