OCTOBER 18, 2022 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright; and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Darren Higashiyama, <br />Chief Deputy; Jeanne Killgore, Human Resource Director; Jerry <br />Pettit, Auditor; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Clay Myers, <br />Sheriff; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Codi Fortier, Administrative Assistant; and 2 members of <br />the public. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AIRPORT HOLDINGS, LLC AIRPORT <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from October 4, 2022, to consider the Lease Agreements with Airport <br />Holdings, LLC. She noted the record was open. <br /> <br />CODI FORTIER, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, reviewed a Staff Report and <br />recommended approval of the proposed Leases with Airport Holdings, <br />LLC. She noted there had been a reduction in the amount of space to <br />be leased by the County which went from 4,000 to 3,000 square feet. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />LEASE AIRPORT HOLDINGS, LLC AIRPORT <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve a Ground Lease and Commercial <br />Building Lease with Airport Holdings, LLC, and Kittitas County. <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING CDBG CLOSEOUT PERFORMANCE AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:02 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Contract No. 21-62210- <br />008 Closeout Performance Report for the Project End Date June 30, <br />2022. <br /> <br />JERRY PETTIT, AUDITOR, reviewed a proposed Contract Close Out Report <br />for the Community Development Block Grant – Public Services, and <br />recommended approval of the document. <br /> <br />THOSE PRESENT & TESTIFYING: KATE SANDERS, REPRESENTING HOPESOURCE, <br />reviewed a summary of workshops they’ve been holding along with
