She said they’ve <br />been successful and able to achieve their goals with assistance from <br />the Community Development Block Grant CDBG funds. <br /> <br />REPORT CDBG CLOSEOUT PERFORMANCE AUDITOR <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve the Community Development <br />Block Grant – Public Services Close Out Performance Report through <br />end date of June 30, 2022, and to authorize the Chair to sign <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING KITTITAS COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 2.68 CDS <br /> <br />At 2:06 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amendments to Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.68. <br /> <br />DAN CARLSON, CDS DIRECTOR, reviewed a Staff Report and history of <br />the Fire Marshal’s office. He said they proposed moving the Fire <br />Marshal’s office to the Sheriff’s office, and that the Building <br />Inspector would be moved into the Community Development Services <br />department. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2022-012 KITTITAS COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 2.68 CDS <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve Ordinance No. 2022-012, <br />Amending Kittitas County Code Chapter 2.68, Moving the Fire <br />Marshal’s office into the Sheriff’s office and moving the Building <br />Inspector into the Community Development Services department. <br />COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Wright said FISH had requested a letter be signed by <br />the Chairman and recommended ratifying it at a later date. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />At 2:12 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess into an <br />Executive Session with Jeanne Killgore, Human Resources Director; and Dan <br />Carlson, CDS Director, for 10 minutes, until 2:22 p.m., to evaluate the <br />qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review <br />the performance of a public employee.
