KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: July 5, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Awarding the Interstate <br />90 Feasibility Study (Easton to Cle Elum Widening) to SCJ <br />Alliance and Authorize the Public Works Director to <br />Negotiate Scope of Work and Fee Proposal <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners authorized soliciting <br />for engineering and support services conducting a <br />feasibility study widening Interstate 90 from Easton to Cle <br />Elum, WA in May 2022. Public Works advertised on May <br />5th, 12th° and 19th, 2022. SCJ Alliance submitted the only <br />proposal on June 10, 2022. An internal review committee <br />in Public Works reviewed the proposal and recommends <br />award to SCJ Alliance. The Public Works Director will <br />then negotiate the study scope of work and fee proposal. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Awarding the Interstate 90 <br />widening feasibility study to SCJ Alliance and authorize <br />the Public Works Director to negotiate scope of work and <br />fee proposal. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
