BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />AWARDING THE INTERSTATE 90 WIDENING FEASIBILITY STUDY (EASTON TO <br />CLE ELUM) TO SCJ ALLIANCE AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS TO NEGOTIATE STUDY SCOPE OF WORK AND FEE <br />WHEREAS: Pursuant to Board of County Commission direction, Public Works did <br />solicit for consultant services on May 5', 1211• and 19'h of 2022; and <br />WHEREAS: SCJ Alliance submitted a proposal for Public Works review on June 101, <br />2022; and <br />WHEREAS: An internal review team in Public Works did review the submitted <br />proposal and is recommending project award to SCJ Alliance; and <br />WHEREAS: A project scope of work and fee proposal now requires negotiation on <br />behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby award the Interstate 90 Widening Feasibility Study (Easton to Cle <br />Elum) to SCJ Alliance. <br />NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does authorize <br />the Director of Public Works to negotiate a study scope of work and fee proposal on behalf of the <br />board. <br />DATED this 5" day of July 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
