BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2021-_______ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH AOC <br />WHEREAS,the Washington Supreme Court handed down its decision in the Blake matter which caused extra work and expense for counties; and <br />WHEREAS,the Washington Legislature appropriated funds for reimbursing those expenses; and <br />WHEREAS,the Administrative Office of the Court (AOC) has been charged with administering those funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the attached contract for such reimbursement has been negotiated and its execution is necessary for reimbursing Kittitas County for such costs. <br />Now, Therefore, Be it Resolved: <br />The BOCC Chairman is authorized to execute the attached interlocal agreement with AOC. <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington.BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERSKITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON__________________________________________Chair__________________________________________Vice-Chair__________________________________________Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />_____________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board
