KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 17, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize the Chair’s signature on a Quit Claim Deed for a <br />Portion of Sparks Road to Washington State Department of <br />Transportation <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: In late 2020, the Board authorized the Chair’s signature on <br />a Quit Claim Deed for a portion of Sparks Road to <br />Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) <br />supporting Interstate 90 roadway improvements. The deed <br />contained errors that WSDOT has corrected. The revised <br />deed is now ready for Chair signature. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Chair’s signature on the revised Sparks Road <br />Quit Claim Deed to WSDOT. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution with deed. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
