i <br />AKittitas County <br />Public Health <br />Department <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH (BOH) <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 18, 2021 <br />WebEx <br />10:00 am <br />Present <br />Board of Health [BOH]: <br />Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz, John Asriel M.D., Dede Utley <br />Public Health: Katie Odiaga, Tristen Lamb, Candi Blackford, Chelsey Loeffers, Kasey Knutson <br />Meeting called to order at 10:00 am <br />Introductions <br />Introductions were completed. <br />Minutes <br />Dede Utley asked for an amendment to the February 18, 2021 Board of Health minutes in regarding the <br />legislative update. <br />Motion to approve the February 18, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes as amended. <br />Motion 03-01: Motion to approve the February 18, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes as <br />amended. Cory Wright moved to approve the February 18, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes as <br />amended. Brett Wachsmith second. All approved. Motion 03-01 carried to approve the February 18, <br />2021 Board of Health meeting minutes as amended. <br />Public Comment Opened at 10:04 am <br />Public Comment Closed at 10:05 am <br />BOHAC Update <br />Tristen Lamb gave a brief update regarding the Board of Health Advisory Committee's most recent <br />meeting, which included a legislative update, public health champion award for 2020 and 2021. <br />Meetings are currently occurring quarterly or as needed. <br />Department updates <br />Director's Report <br />Tristen Lamb gave updates regarding the following: <br />• Tine Rowan to retire at the end of August <br />• Fiscal Analyst position posted already due to historical difficulty filling that position <br />• Tristen Lamb is no longer functioning as Deputy IC, that role is currently filled by Chelsey Loeffers, <br />and will be rotated among the other members of KCPHD Management team. <br />• Local funding allocations for funding for Local Health Jurisdictions are currently being finalized, <br />primarily for COVID-19 vaccine outreach and promotion. <br />
