KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: February 2, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Authorize Advertising for a Request for <br />Proposals for the following: "2021-2022 Hyak No Parking <br />Enforcement Support Services" <br />BACKGROUND: Ongoing illegal seasonal parking in Hyak continues <br />impeding emergency response and is adversely impacting <br />Public Works snow removal operations. Recent actions <br />allowing impound yards in the Snoqualmie Limited Area of <br />More Intense Rural Development, now enables the <br />solicitation for parking enforcement services. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works and the Sheriff's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize advertising for service proposals for Parking <br />Enforcement Support Services. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Request for Proposals "2021-2022 No Hyak Parking <br />Enforcement Support Services". <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
