KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 5, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Ratify the Public <br />Works Director's Signature on an Agreement with the <br />Treasurer's Office for Water Metering Collection Fees. <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, Public Works (PW) briefed the Board on our <br />desire initiating an agreement with the Treasurer's Office <br />collecting annual water metering fees. The Board <br />authorized the Director's signature on the agreement and <br />formal action is now required ratifying the Director's <br />signature. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works and the Treasurer's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Ratify the Director's signature <br />on the water meter fee collection agreement with the <br />Treasurer's Office. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works and one original to the <br />Treasurer's Office. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Arden Thomas, Water Resources Manager and Mark R. <br />Cook, Director. <br />
