BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - <br />RATIFY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR'S SIGNATURE ON A WATER METER <br />FEE COLLECTION AGREEMENT WITH THE TREASURER'S OFFICE <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Code 13.40.030 requires all new domestic groundwater use to be <br />metered and users pay an annual metering fee; and <br />WHEREAS: The water metering program is managed by the Department of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works has negotiated an agreement with the <br />Treasurer's Office enabling the Treasurer to collect required metering fees for the <br />Public Works Department; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners directed the Public Works Director's <br />signature on the fee collection agreement with the Treasurer's Office; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Public Works Director's signature on the water <br />metering fee collection agreement with the Treasurer's Office. <br />DATED this 5th day of January 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Vice -Chairman <br />Commissioner <br />
