12/29/2020 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 10:00 A.M. DECEMBER 29, 2020 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice- <br />Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others present via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark <br />Cook, Public Works Director; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the <br />Board I; Benjamin West, Director of Airport Operations; Ken Grannan, <br />Airport Coordinator; Chris Whitsett, Inspector; Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Judy <br />Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Kady <br />Porterfield, Event Center Director; Jeremy Johnston, Planning <br />Official and 1 member of the public. <br /> <br />Kittitas County is currently in Phase 3 and in person participation <br />is prohibited. The public was encouraged to join the meeting by <br />joining a WebEx event online. <br /> RESOLUTION 2020-230 MISDEMEANANT PROBATION AUDITOR <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-230, <br />Closing Fund #127, Misdemeanant Probation effective December 31, <br />2020, and all Assets and Liabilities be transferred into Fund #001 <br />General Fund, Department #127, effective January 1, 2021. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AMEND 2020 BUDGET AUDITOR <br />At 10:02 a.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />Amending the 2020 Budget. <br /> JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER provided a Staff Report and <br />reviewed proposed amendments to the 2020 County Budget in the total <br />amount of $7,743,281.00. <br /> THOSE IN ATTENDANCE PROVIDING TESTIMONY: TERRY LaRUE provided <br />testimony relating to the Capital Improvement Program and wetland <br />mitigation program at the airport. THERE BEING NO OTHERS REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2020-031 AMEND 2020 BUDGET AUDITOR VICE-CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-031, <br />Amending the 2020 Budget in the amount of $7,743,281.00. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
