10-12-2020 1 <br /> <br />Airport Study Session <br />WebeX Conference <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Monday 11:00 AM October 12, 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice Chairman, Laura Osiadacz and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Benjamin West, Ken Grannan, Greg Zempel, Neil Caulkins, Marlene Pfeifer, <br />Brian McElroy, Nancy Lillquist, Mandy Buchhulz, Taylor Crouch, Nick Zito., Brian Lenz, Terry <br />LaRue, Kristin Ashely, <br /> <br />Meeting Called to Order by, Chairman Brett Wachsmith at 11:02 AM <br /> <br />Airport Advisory Committee Restructuring: Study Session <br /> <br />Benjamin West opened with discussion regarding the reasons for restructuring the airport <br />advisory committee and under what direction that was performed. <br /> <br />Two representatives from the Airport Advisory Committee were given an opportunity to speak, <br />both Marlene Pfeifer and Brian McElroy voiced their concerns regarding poor communication, <br />transparency and the inability to review important issues for the airport. Discussion continued <br />regarding past concerns, and how to move forward, with clarification if the BoCC wanted to <br />suspend the committee or not. <br /> <br />BoCC commented they do not want to suspend the committee at this time and further <br />discussion for proper reorganization is necessary. <br /> <br />Reorganizing the Airport Advisory Committee discussion covered clarification on Committee <br />responsibilities and review criteria. With input from Prosecuting Attorney Greg Zempel and <br />others led to a motion by Commissioner Cory Wright as follows. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wright. <br /> <br />A motion to form a sub-committee that includes Commissioner Cory Wright, Airport Staff <br />(Benjamin West and Ken Grannan), Advisory Committee Chair and Vice Chair, to discuss issues <br />and develop a set of expectations and understandings around this with updates at the
