04/19/2016 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. APRIL 19, 2016 Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Doc Hansen, Planning Official/Interim CDS Director; Angela San Filippo, Staff Planner; Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; and 3 members of the public. PUBLIC HEARING TAX TITLE PROPERTY TREASURER At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing to consider applications for the Resale of Tax Title Property. BRETT WACHSMITH, TREASURER explained that he had received two applications for the Resale of Tax Title Property’s. He reviewed the parcels and recommended approval of the requests. THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. SALE OF PROPERTY HANNELORE INMAN TREASURER COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to approve the Resale of Tax Title property #18-18-17000-0010, as requested by Hannelore Inman. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. COMMISSIONER JEWELL felt it was in the best interest of the public to get the property back onto the tax rolls. Motion carried 3-0. SALE OF PROPERTY KNOTTS TREASURER COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to approve the Resale of Tax Title properties #222934, #232934, #242934, #252934, #022934 and #012934, as requested by Gilbert and Michael Dale Knotts. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING COUNTY WIDE PLANNING POLICIES CDS At approximately 2:12 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing to consider amendments to the Kittitas Countywide Planning Policies as adopted and recommended by the Kittitas County Conference of Governments.
