Via phone: Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Darren Higashiyama, Chief <br />Deputy; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Steve <br />Panattoni, Jail Superintendent; Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court <br />Administrator. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE <br />Chairman Wachsmith led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH COMMISSIONERS <br />Vice-Chairman Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation declaring April <br />2020 as Child Abuse Prevention Month in Kittitas County, and encourage <br />all citizens, community agencies, faith groups, medical facilities, <br />elected leaders and businesses in Kittitas County to participate in the <br />efforts to support families, thereby preventing child abuse and <br />strengthening the communities in which we live. Commissioner Wright <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS - NONE <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Chairman Wachsmith noted Consent Item I had been removed from the <br />Agenda. <br />
