BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTIO ~ <br />NO. 2019-Dv-, ----"---- <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON A VOICE OVER <br />INTERNET PROTOCOL (VOiP) SERVICES 911 CUSTOMER NOTICE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-2018-140, the Board of County Commissioners, <br />awarded the bid for VOiP services to Ednetics; and <br />WHEREAS, the implementation of VOiP services moves the responsibility for providing 911 location <br />information from Consolidated Communications to the county; and <br />WHEREAS, the FCC requires Consolidated Communications to obtain and keep a record of the county 's <br />responsibilities acknowledgement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Voice over Internet Protocol (VOiP) Services 911 Customer Notice and <br />Acknowledgement detailing the responsibilities has been reviewed and approved and is <br />attached hereto and incorporated by reference; and <br />WHEREAS, authorization is required by the Board of County of Commissioners before services can be <br />provided; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby authorizes execution of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VOiP) <br />Services 911 Customer Notice and Acknowledgement from Consolidated Communications, <br />formerly FairPoint Communications. <br />DATED this / 5-f-h. day of )7vn,t Lf,1,A--i,a, I 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington . <br />(J ' <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
