BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE <br />(1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6, 2018, to <br />furnish Rock Materials for 2018; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22,2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg <br />Cement Products, Inc. be accepted for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for Rock <br />Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract execution; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2018 Rock Materials to Ellensburg <br />Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules "A", "B", and "C", upon such terms and conditions as <br />specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 6th day of March, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />ABSENT <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Commissioner
