Kittitas County Employee Wellness Program <br />Employee Input Committee (EIC) Bylaws <br />Article I – Name <br />The name of this body shall be the Kittitas County Employee Input Committee (EIC). <br />Article II – Authority and Oversight <br />The EIC operates under the discretion and authority of the Board of County Commissioners <br />and serves in an advisory and coordinating capacity for the Kittitas County Wellness <br />Program. <br />Article III – Purpose <br />The purpose of the EIC is to support and promote the health and well-being of Kittitas <br />County Employees and elected officials by: <br />• Encouraging physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices <br />• Promoting mental health awareness and resources <br />• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace environment <br />• Coordinating activities that enhance employee morale, teamwork and camaraderie <br />Article IV – Membership <br />Section 1. Composition <br />The EIC shall consist of one volunteer representative from each County department. <br />Departments are encouraged, but not required, to have representation. Members shall be <br />appointed/designated by their Department Head/Elected Official. <br />Section 2. Voluntary Participation <br />Participation in the EIC is voluntary and is not a requirement or condition of employment. <br />Section 3. Term of Service <br />Members serve indefinitely or until they choose to step down or are no longer able to <br />participate. Departments may appoint a replacement at their discretion. <br />Article V – Roles and Responsibilities
