KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 5, 2026 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's <br />Signature on Ardurra Group, Inc. Task Order No. 3 — Hungry <br />Junction Road Project <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County was awarded funds through the County Road <br />Administration Board (CRAB) Rural Arterial Program (RAP) for <br />the design and construction of road improvements on Hungry <br />Junction Road. The design of the improvements includes a <br />structure replacement at the intersection of Hungry Junction and <br />Faust Road, as well as widening and improving the existing <br />vertical curves on the roadway between Highway 97 and Reecer <br />Creek Road. <br />Public Works staff has been leading the design efforts of the <br />project including project management and civil design. <br />Consultant services are needed to advance the design to <br />completion. <br />Public Works previously solicited proposals and selected on -call <br />civil support and selected Ardurra Group Inc. as an on -call <br />consultant. Public Works has requested a scope and fee from <br />Ardurra Group, Inc., for design and construction support for the <br />project. The task order amount proposed is for $315,000.00 and <br />Ardurra would be under contract through the end of 2028. <br />At the April 27, 2026, Study Session, the Board of County <br />Commissioners provided staff with direction to proceed with <br />presenting enabling documents at a future agenda session. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's Signature on <br />Ardurra Group, Inc.
