MARCH 2, 2026 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Jodi Larsen, Office <br />Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mike Hougardy, <br />Assessor and one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT - NONE <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action Forms and Vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending February 27, 2026. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION CURRENT USE/DESIGNATED FORREST FEE ASSESSOR <br /> <br />Mike Hougardy, Assessor, explained that he will be presenting at the <br />upcoming BoCC Regular Agenda Session on Tuesday. He will request the <br />Board’s consideration of a Resolution updating the application fees <br />for the Current Use Classification of Farm and Agricultural Lands <br />and Designated Forest Lands. <br /> <br />He reviewed the basis for the proposed fee update and asked whether <br />the Board had any questions prior to the formal meeting that he <br />could address in advance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz asked whether implementing full cost recovery <br />would be beneficial.
