BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. g0 Aq' Ax7 <br />AUTHORIZING CHAIR OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S SIGNATURE ON AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF <br />ELLENSBURG AND KITTITAS COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS: The City of Ellensburg and the Kittitas County Flood Control Zone District <br />entered into an Interlocal Agreement in support of the construction of the Reecer <br />Creek Flood HazardReduction and Floodplain Restoration Project, as authorized <br />by Kittitas County Resolution No. 2022-176; and <br />WHEREAS: Section 14 of the Agreement allows for modification or amendment by written <br />mutual agreement of the parities; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution No. 2024-012 amended the agreement to extend the <br />agreement term to December 31,2024; and <br />WHEREAS: the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend the agreement term to <br />December 31,2025; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does authorize Chair of County Commissioner's Signature on an <br />amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County <br />Flood Control Zone District. <br />DATED this 17th day of December 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS CO WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />n DepuQr Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />a{ <br />Cor <br />?, <br />L <br />Commissioner
