December L6,2024 <br />Commissioner Wachsmith <br />Chairman, Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />205 W 5th Ave Suite #108 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />Re: Modifrcation to Interlocal Agreement Between City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County Flood <br />Control Zone District. <br />Dear Commissioner Wachsmith, <br />On September 19, 2A22the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County Flood Coatrol Zone District <br />entered into an Interlocal Agreement for the purpose of providing funding support of the Reecer <br />Creek Flood Hazard Reduction and Floodplain Restoration Project (Kittitas County Resolution <br />No. 2022-176). Per Term 14 of this agreement, "the provisions of this Agreement may be <br />modified or amended only by written mufual agreement of the parties, executed by personnel <br />authorized to bind each of these parties." This Iuterlocal Agreement was previously extended by <br />mutual agreement to December 31, 2024 (Kittitas County Resolution No. 2024-012). We request <br />to extend the ILA for an additional year, which can be executed by my signature and your <br />counter-signature of this letter. <br />May it be known that the undersigned parties, for good consideration, do hereby agree to extend <br />the Interlocal Agreement from the current term of the agreement which ends on December 31, <br />2024 ta December 31, 2A25. <br />The parties reaffirm no other terms or conditions of the above-mentioned contract shall be <br />negated or changed as a result of this modification. <br />Signatures <br />(- <br />Chairman <br />City of Ellensburg Kittitas County <br />7-11 ^>O>+t-7--' <br />Date Date
