<br /> <br />Public Health Study Session <br />May 22, 2024 at 10:00 am <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Attendees: <br />Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz, Chelsey Loeffers, Candi Blackford, Erin Moore, Dr. Mark <br />Larson <br /> <br />Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:00 am <br /> <br />Citizen Comment (1 minute time limit) <br />There were no members of the public present. <br /> <br />Department Business <br />Approve Human Services Administrative Specialist position job description <br />Chelsey Loeffers reviewed the Human Services Administrative Specialist job description. Mrs. Loeffers <br />noted that this is a position that would dedicate staff to clerk advisory committees, provide <br />administrative support, oversee of the request for proposal and contracting process for the distribution <br />of tax generated revenue into the community, and fiscal oversight. Mrs. Loeffers worked with HR to <br />finalize job description and appropriate wage range. All three members approved of the job description <br />and the department has approval to move forward with the hiring timeline. <br /> <br />Approve Resolution to Authorize The Allocation Of Community Services Millage Tax Revenue To The <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department <br />Chelsey Loeffers reviewed the Resolution to Authorize the Allocation of Community Services Millage Tax <br />Revenue to the Kittitas County Public Health Department. At the March 27, 2024 Study Session, the <br />BOCC approved the use of the use of 20% of annual Developmental Disabilities milage tax revenue by <br />KCPHD for the purpose of funding administrative costs associated with coordination and provision of <br />community services for persons with developmental disabilities or mental health services. <br />In addition, the milage workgroup also recommend allocation of an additional 2o% of milage revenue <br />annually to support activities of the Kittitas County Developmental Disabilities Program to address <br />community needs identified in the Kittitas County Developmental Disabilities Biennial plan or otherwise <br />by DDAC. This is common use of milage funds throughout DD programs in Washington State. <br />05.01: Motion to approve BOCC Resolution 2024-090 to Authorize the Allocation of Community <br />Services Millage Tax Revenue to the Kittitas County Public Health Department. Laura Osiadacz moved <br />to approve BOCC Resolution 2024-090 to Authorize the Allocation of Community Services Millage Tax <br />Revenue to the Kittitas County Public Health Department. Cory Wright second. All approved. Motion
