KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM June 10, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Chad Bala and Jessica Miller, Community Development <br />Services; Josh Fredrickson, Cameron Curtis, and Rebecca Cruse, <br />Public Works; Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor; and three <br />(3) members of the public. <br />At 1:41 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 MIN. TIME LIMIT) <br />There were no public comments. <br />SUNCADIA <br />CDS Planning Manager Jamey Ayling requested to remove this item <br />from the agenda due to the applicant not being able to secure a <br />bond in time for approval prior to this meeting. Planning <br />Manager Ayling stated that he will be requesting that this topic <br />come before the BoCC at the June 18th regular agenda meeting. The <br />BoCC requested the item come before them as an action item. <br />SHORT-TERM RENTAL UPDATE <br />CDS Director Chad Bala presented an update that the committee <br />would like to continue meeting monthly to start developing <br />regulations. The committee has discussed potential regulations <br />in their meetings. Direction from the BoCC is to proceed with <br />the committee meeting monthly and to provide an outline of what <br />the committee will be working on to the BoCC. <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PERIODIC UPDATE <br />2024-06-10 MINUTES 1 <br />
