KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2024 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 4, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Resolution Authorizing the Flood <br />Control District Administrator to sign Easement <br />Documents with Kerry and John Woods <br />BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board of County Commissioners were briefed <br />on the acquisition of easements along Whiskey Creek as <br />secured from Kerry and John Woods. The acquisition is <br />funded by the Flood Control Zone District using funds <br />obtained from DR Horton. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Flood Control District Administrator to sign <br />Easement Documents with Kerry and John Woods. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Easement documents. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
