Box 16612 <br />Seattle, WA 98116 <br />RE: State of Washington Tourism + TREAD Map Commitment to Participation <br />Kittitas County would like to express our intent to be included in the TREAD Map app in2022. <br />We have allocated and commit to remit to Washington Tourism Alliance d/b/a State of <br />Washington Tourism ("SWT") $30,000 to reserve our inclusion in the program to secure our <br />participation in the statewide rollout of the project. The funds are being secured through our <br />county's Lodging Tax funds and will be paid to SWT on <br />The funds that we are allocating to the project require that the be completed by <br />1213112022 <br />We understand that with our investment, we are getting priority access and inclusion in the app, <br />access to back-end data that is otherwise unavailable to non-sponsoring participants, and access <br />to the following products and services: <br />TREAD Consulting <br />TREAD Consulting will complete onboarding and grassroots stakeholder engagement for the <br />app, Its primary focus will be helping counties understand how to best leverage the potential of <br />the app for the greatest benefit to their communities. Key ingredients of this service include:. 3Jevel training curriculum customized to the needs of each Admin group: Businesses, <br />Land Managers, Influencers, Advocates. Technical support. Multimedia library of educational resources for each category of admin. Process for connecting App Admins together to facilitate communication and learning. Opportunities for evaluation and feedbackr Support for Outdoor Recreation Collaboratives (ORCs) in understanding how app can be <br />a tool for collective impact in their recreation communities <br />Statewide Marketing <br />SWT will be the lead on marketing the app, which means there are strategic resources feady to <br />be deployed to inspire the uptake of the app. SWT's messaging will help solve the problem the <br />app is addressing by engaging a wide array of new, visiting, and existing trail and waterway <br />users. The marketing strategy will also deliver on the value proposition by supplying a steady <br />stream of daily active users and business sponsors.
